This is another informative and entertaining read. I'd just like to pick you up on repetition of 'wrong' and query whether there's any quotes out there on these ...I think the film Grease carries one.

Grease quote? Was it this one:
Frenchy: "Men are rats! Worse then that! They’re fleas on rats! Worse then that! They’re amoebas on fleas on rats! They’re too low for even the dogs to bite. The only man a girl can trust is her daddy."
If so, it's probably the wrong sort of amoeba for this entry (I know, I'm very fussy)
As to the repetition, it's in the phrase "caught in the wrong place at the wrong time", so I'm sure it's OK like that.

They're part of the English language, so I'd say yes, we can use them.
Cliches, on the other hand, should be avoided like the plague.
