Hi,
I just joined H2G2 and running a search for Pavement was one of my first actions.
I have just spent the last Three years writing/editing the music section of the student newspaper at Lancaster university and wrote a similar article a couple of years back.
I agree with you that an entry about Pavement should be in the guide and I did enjoy reading yours. However I did find it a bit hardgoing and hackneyed in places.
What it needs is just a little pepping up to make it of interest to those who know nothing of Pavement but juct want to read about great bands.
Just an opinion though. Don't take it too seriously.
