I'm working in Berlin at the moment, and I would really like to get in contact with anyone who is close enough to Berlin so that we could meet up. Not speaking German, life is rather difficult, so I'm drawing on good old hootoo to help me!

but, apart from that rather difficult-to-organise feat, I vaguely remember Spiff toying with the idea of going to Berlin. U185155.

I've been here 6 months... not that it feels that long! So my contract is to be extended. My boss has put in the form for it to be extended, but there was trouble with HR (as always!) and I still dont know and my present contract ends tomorrow!
Its going to the Works Council tomorrow. So I either get on a plane on Friday and have a weeks holiday, or I get on a plane Friday with all my stuff!
I kinda hope both things happen! I'd love to stay and finish what I'm actually doing, and the extra 6 months would let me do that. But there is so much wrong with this company and its practices, that if I leave, I cant be hurt by any of the guns that will be shooting bullets from the UK! And it would also mean that I can be with DD. If I do stay, it'll be another 6 months, and I'll be with DD after that. SO I win in either situation!

I'd say, but I'll end up in loads of trouble no doubt. hmm... I bet its on here somewhere else though! The trouble is its such a huge company, if I say who it is, you *would* have heard of them. But I'd best not say how bad it is and mention the company in the same vein!
