Gnomon - time to move on

I'm surprised to see that this entry still hasn't been picked. Scouts, have a look! You will like what you see.

Yes - the other 2 were there. I think Jason Bonham played drums - he certainly has at one "re-union"

I enjoyed the article and I think Zep deserve a serious in depth study in the guide. Well done for highlighting their folk influences -Zep influenced me to get into that genre....

Am unsure about the coverage of the middle years though. The Song remains the Same was released after Physical Graffiti (I guess this because the sleevenotes refer to the song "Kashmir") - and before Presence. So the recording and material in PG seems to have been missed. This upsets me cos I consider PG to be their greatest achievement - the range of styles and musical invention on that album takes my breath away even now. And it has one of the most groovy Album covers - such as we may never see again due to the miniturised CD format for artwork!

Keep up the good work - Cheers!

...to be included into the Edited Guide. Congratulations smiley - smiley Once moved out of Peer Review it will be sent to a SubEd, who will make sure it follows the Guidelines and then pass it back to TPTB. From there it will make its way onto the Front Page. These next stages can take a while, but I would reckon that it wouldn't, in any way, be any where near as long as it has been lingereing in Peer Review. Again congratulations smiley - smiley Until later....

*bows, grinning*

Thank you, thank you! Why is this place so amazingly cool?!

I mean, with other places, my reaction wouldn't be filled with half as much giddiness, but what can I say? You guys are so cool I could probably keep a side of meat in you for months (and who's to say I already haven't tried?) Even if I wrote this thing a year ago and waited with hopeless anxiety to see if it would ever get picked, promising myself that the day it was recommended I'd be evil and yell at the scout for not picking it sooner, I feel so great about it finally being accepted, that my heart has been filled to the brim with love and joy. I shall not yell at anyone but rather celebrate with them and get incredibly drunk. smiley - biggrin

If you haven't noticed, I'm very happy with all of this... smiley - winkeye

By the way, who was it exactly, who recommended the entry? I would like to know, so that I can bombard the scout with as many drinks and thank you's on their personal space as I possibly can without them filing some sort of restraining order of sorts... smiley - biggrin
