I think it's time we had another party at the Alabaster House. I can provide penguins to serve food and drinks if you like, or just to provide entertainment. Or both. What do you say, Mr. President?

Sounds good to me! The last party seems to have disappeared, unfortunately. Shame, it was still going when the site went down!
It was popular mainly 'cos it was a themed party... therefore unique. Perhaps we should do something like that again? Any ideas?

The old party probably hasn't been moderated yet. It did start quite a long time ago...

Hmm, a theme. Here are some ideas:

- a party in pitch darkness so nobody can see _anything_ at all
- a party where everyone has to come as their favourite vegetable (well, it'd be quiet!)
- a party where everyone has to come as someone who's dead already
- a party where everyone has to come as someone they've just invented
- a party where everyone brings a brick, and we see how big a pile of bricks we can make
- a party in the Chocolate Room
- a party in zero gravity
- a banquet
- or combinations thereof

All good ideas... how about a zero gravity chocolate banquet?

A banquet, held in zero gravity, consisting entirely of a variety of dishes composed primarily of chocolate? Sounds great!!!!!

Want to make a menu or anything like that? And provide some penguins? I might do some artwork while we're about it. Might as well do it properly

Well, if you can find somewhere to _put_ the artwork. On your external website I suppose. Yes, I'll do a menu and give you the link here when I've done it.

We *could* have spreadable chocolate body syrup, but the moderators might not like the result...

Once I've done some artwork I'll start a party thread in the Alabaster House (unless you think we need a whole new page, but a single thread is more fun I think), and post links to the menu and artwork.

Chocolate fudge cake
Individual chocs, like liquiors (sp?), nut chocs, nougat, that soft filling stuff which I can't remember the name of right now...

Gnah, I've been trying to do some Flash artwork but it keeps crashing. I've given up. Don't suppose there's any chocolate and zero-g blobs around are there? *scurries off to the image libraries*

There's a very nice chocolate one, but I'm not sure about zero-g stuff...

Take a look at the Alabaster House page. The pictures are the most suitable blobs I could find.

Oooh... and perhaps you could mention on the menu page that the food provided is made from nothing but the finest Belgian and Swiss chocolate

There's some pretty good English milk chocolate around as well... I'll modify the menu.

And they're not the Linux Penguins anymore, they're the Penguins from the Ministry of Evil. And they're very, very good with food of any kind.

I must protest against this chocolate thingy... Until Easter.

It is when you've decided to give up chocolate for Lent...
...but then I'm doing quite well. I'm eating so many ice-creams, cookies, biscuits and cakes that I've no room left to eat any chocolate at all.
