You know, I've never thought about that. I'm sure it would confuse me, too if the sun rose on the other side to what I'm used to.

In fact, I'm having difficulties to imagine it in the first place.

Thanks for that, I learnt something new again.

It was unexpected I mean I never thought about it before coming to the southern hemisphere and it took me months to figure it out. I suspect that northern hemisphere sun navigation is so embedded in me that I'll never quite get used to it here and if I ever do end up living in Orkney, it'll feel like home for that reason alone

With a big issue like this one I guess it'll take a while for people to read it all (if they manage in the first place).
I was so busy with *my* work that I only started reading the rest once it was published - like everybody else.
It took me another day to get back to you and leave the comment.

Anyway, it's an interesting column, and it made for some effect when reading it.
