I hope this doesn't lead to acrimony among researchers. One of the reasons I've enjoyed the AWW is that commentators are usually freindly and courteous, if critical. I know of forums which have disintegrated because there has been so much feuding and recrimination. It would be a pity if hootoo went that way.

I didn't bother with anything as formal as a deadline. I was hoping that by not mentioning it this week, contestants would stop dribbling in. There's still room, though - you'd be very welcome

Well i have written my first poece, and it is safely saved on my memory stick, the only problem is that i cannot seem to find a USB port in this library computer, so i am relying on my dad to get me back to Dundee in time to send in my submission this weekend!
