I agree. This fellow would have made me mad too. I just hate it when somebody's ego is so low they can't resist making someone else's life more miserably than their own.
If it's any consolation, you can think on this. If you and Anne hated dealing with this guy for a few horrible minutes, imagine what it must be like to be stuck around him all the time! And guess who is stuck with him 24/7? He is! He must be miserable. And the funniest thing about it is that he has the power to change his miserableness, and chooses not to.
