A Conversation for Emily Dickinson

Ooops.
Sorry. I guess I don't know my own strength?
Do you want this moved to the Writing Workshop where others can comment and add to it then?
I'd love to help out but I've got a real blindspot when it comes to poets and poetry.

OOO... must they comment on it!??
That'd be cool. I want this to get done, finished, edited, re-finished and revised and edited again so that people can find the Belle of Amherst on The Guide.
But of course, I don't want to do all the work.
So go for it, and THANK YOU!!!

If you're not still interested, I'd be willing to have a go at this entry; I don't yet know much about Emily Dickenson, but I'm eager to learn more.
Her poems 'Because I Could not Stop for Death' and 'Wild Nights' are both included in John Adam's choral work Harmonium, which is what piques my interest in her...

We have taken it into our own hands and reformatted it. We are now thinking about whether we wish to add or subtract from it, or both, or neither. This process may take some time. Yep... both of me
BTW you don't happen to have the numbers of any of the poems in the entry, do you? I hear she didn't go in for titles...

Neato-poopoos... I will have to look at it later... the numbers for the poems will be at home...

That neat version is good enough for Peer Review. Are you going to submit it?

J'au-æmne Posted May 8, 2002
Yes, after I've done a tiny bit more research on her influence and legacy... But that won't happen for a little while because I have exams. After that, I aim to finish it and submit it

2 questions: J'au-æmne, are you still working on your version? Planning to submit it to Peer Review?
Also, is there any need to keep *this* thread in Writing Workshop, since the work has moved to another entry?

I just remembered, we don't have to trouble the italics about this. Dragonfly? Are you still subscribed here? If you go to the Writing Workshop page , you should have a 'remove' button by this thread. Could you click that, and help tidy up the Workshop? Thanks!

yes, Dragonfly is still subscribed here.
Anyway, I'll take it upon me to have this thread moved back
