h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

I love Kodocha. The anime especially. The theme of the the work is that being a kid is hard, and that Adults shouldn't mess with them. It is a completed manga. It ends after the two main characters finish middle school. When they are no longer kids, there is no reason to continue the manga.

Anyway, now it is avaliable in English translation, and I read that they will try to translate all of it. The anime is harder to translate and I have been told that it will happen a few months before hell freezes over. Oh well.

Even so, I recommend this very fine work to you. I think that it is Tokyopop that is translating it, but I could be wrong. Don't look down on this work because it is illustrated. It would make a very fine novel if that was the way things were done in Japan.
