this entry was written by me, firstly I though there should be an entry for ZZ9 and secondly a couple of people asked me to,
also H2G2 being the earth edition of the guide there might be some people wanting more info on the original so to speak

I like it...
you should possibly use GuideML tags instead of tags - that way they'll show up in the sidebar..
I think the history bit could be shortened to include only edited highlights - maybe 10 items, not 20.
And you should probably link Douglas Adams' name to his Bio page here on h2g2. More links are always better, in my experience - you could add one to "towels" too
But good entry - certainly interested me - though not quite enough to click on the external link

Look good to me.
It's odd that the zz9 site doesn't have a link to h2g2! Or even a mention of it... I wasn't overly impressed with it, I must say.

Apologies! They DO link to h2g2. Just not very extensively...

Nice article, but use GuideML, the page layout looks awful on my moniter (800x600 using Classic Goo).

I think the problen is that the title is too long, (it is actually in guide ML)
I didn't want to just put ZZ9 Plural Z Alpha, because people may not know thats its the Hitchhikers appreciation socity,
niether did I want to call it the fan club or not use its actually name,
so I've shortened it to ZZ9, The Hitchikers Apperciation Socity,
so have another look and see if its better

looks better, you might want to reduce the number of links to ZZ9 in the page have just the one.

well there's two links to ZZ9 itself one at the top and one at the bottom, which d'ya think I should keep?

Bottom would be my choice as the top of the page is already fairly crowded with links, This may be just me but I find it kind distracting when reading the article that the text colour changes so I avoid duplicating links. (I'm new to the scout's so take this as me making a personal comment rather than me trying give advice on guide policy).

I'd agree that the top looks a little link-crowded.
I'd personally put the links in the body of the text more than in the title, so that it would look more like:
"ZZ9 Plural Z Alpha (ZZ9, for short) is The Official Hitchhikers Guide To The Galaxy/Douglas Adams Appreciation Society.
Catering strangely enough for fans of Hitchhikers Guide To The Galaxy and Douglas Adams, the society produces a newsletter four times a year, organises meetings (or will help you organise your own meetings), keeps you informed of the latest goings on in all things HitchHikery, and also sells merchandise, T-shirts, stickers, mugs, matchbooks and completely unexpectedly, towels."
which, I think, would space it out a bit more, rather than crowding 3 links into one short sentance.

Ta Bluebottle, you not only managed to express the problem far better than me - you have also provided a solution.
