A Conversation for Talking Point: Should Cannabis be Legalised?
Yes, legal is better

Politicians and law enforcement enjoy having pot (Cannabis) classified as a an illeagal substance. It allows them to continue to gouge the taxpayers of their countries for ever higher tax revenues.
The pot user is not known as a violent criminal, the police can beef up their crime fighting statistics, with little or no danger to themselves, while helping the politician to show the voter, that the tax money is well spent. Legalization takes away their
easy money. That money would be better spent on violent crime, terrorism, education, and life improvement programs.
No one should restrict another beings lifestyle unless it threatens anothers freedoms.
I do believe that it should be allowed to be used in private (or a pot club) and be restricted to the recognized "adult" age for the
country one resides in.
There is one problem - it could lead to obesity, because one gets the munchies (the need to comsume massive quantities of food,
MMM! , it tastes so good, gimmee another). Actually this could help revenues as all that comsuming of food, rock n' roll, and
sex, could be taxed by the politicians. Don't tell them, they may visualize huge populations of fat, dancing, gentle sex fiends,
supplying them with endless money, fat corporate dividends and large land holdings. HMMMM! seems to me their getting
that now, so legalization would'nt hurt their stranglehold on our hard earned money. GOOD FOR THE POLITICIAN, GOOD FOR
THE TAXPAYER AND THE POLICE COULD GET ON WITH ATTEMPTING TO PROTECT AND SERVE THE PUBLIC.
