*I enter the thread with a silly party hat and a big grin. Many other party hats are sitting on a small table, along with a bottle of bubbly on ice and several plastic wine glasses*
*I pull a corkscrew out of my pocket (no jokes please), and remove the champagne from the ice bucket with a flourish. After a moment of embarrassment at being unable to pull out the cork, I finally hold the bottle between my feet and pull with all my might.*
*POP!*
Phew! Well, that was a bit harder than expected. Everyone, do join me for a drink.
*I pour a few glasses, then lift one myself*

Champagne Toast, eh? I've always wanted the recipe for that you know. I do believe that you need to take a couple of slices of Wonder Bread, and toast it to a light golden brown. Then generously slather it with butter while the toast is till warm, allowing the butter to gently melt into the crust. Finally, add a sprinkle of sugar and cinnamon . . .
er, uhm, yes. . . .
Notices the bottles of champagne, glasses and silly party hats . . .
OH! THAT kind of toast . . .
Silly me.
