she tries to be coy
she wants him real bad but he's not catching on

but she's so paranoid
now I'm feeling bad because our friendship is gone

I thought we were friends
and I never dreamed
this would be the end
you know I'd never cheat
I thought we were friends
we loved the same things
a little too much if
you know what I mean
