So...
If Team A finished the game with three goals and six points (=15), and Team B finished with four goals and three points (=15) the match would be a draw?
Or do the number of goals count as a decider in such circumstances?
Does that depend on whether it is a league r knock-out competition?
Good piece, but a sentence or two to clarify the above might be useful.

Yes - it would be a draw. You don't get any advantage whatsoever from scoring more goals.
I'll try to clarify this a bit more in the text.
