I think it's a good start, although I agree with other threads - the idea of putting any kind of spread (marg or butter) is totally urggh! to me and the thought of putting it on the outside of the bread - how do you manage to eat it?
I think you need to describe how to make different types of burgers instead of being generic about the one that you eat. Different people eat different burgers. Give the reader the option of different burgers.

The reason why it is put on the outside is so the bread toasts. If you don't put the margarine on the outside, it burns; it turns to a flavorful golden brown with the margarine.
As for other recipies? I'm aiming for simplicity. I've made suggestions in the bottom, and I expect the forums to take fire with ideas. I've heard that comment- more recipies- before, but it's not the point. The article is about this particular recipie, and my giving the undetailed suggestions which I am now is a comprimise.
I have my reasons for it being on the outside; it IS totally inedible with it on the inside, but the bread is burned if you don't put it on the outside. It melts into the bread and helps crisp up the bread, as well as change the flavor.
Don't diss something you (obviously) haven't tried.
