h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

Garden Dice.

You need 6 for each die
plus a dump bin/big box to use as a shaker
you also need
duck tape or gaffertape
some paint or a waterproof marker
alcohol
other nutters.

stick three cds together as one strip.
Do this again.
put the two strips together tennisball-wise
to make a cube-like shape.
tape the edges using smallish bits of tape
write big numbers or put dots on the sides
with paint or marker

repeat until you have enough dice for a game.
(Eg 2 for snake-eyes, 5 for poker-dice)

Assemble adults and alcohol in fair size
garden. Add barbeque if liked and simmer
gently before introducing cd-dice. Time
this carefully - too early and silliness
will not be appreciated - too late and the
inclination to take part in stupid things
will have been superceded by alcoholic stupor.

To Garnish, paint some of the things gold and
hang them on strips of red cloth for medals.

Garden game 2

you need
cd roms
washed squirty bottles
paint
string
water
washing line or similar

paint cds different colours, hang from
washing line, give consenting adults
squirty bottles full of water and plenty
of alcoholic seasoning

Winner is first person to make cd loop
over washing line using water from squirty
bottle

Persons squirting each other with water
should pay a forfeit. We found enforced
refilling of their wine-glass worked wonders.
