A Conversation for Pictures: Europe

May I humbly request...

Hi there, whoever might end up reading this in any remotely official capacity, smiley - smiley

I don't know what the usual channels are for making picture requests, so I am plonking this in here in a bout of optimism. Hope that's ok.

So, my request would be a kind of 'Eiffel Tower; Arc de Triomphe; cliché Frenchman in the foreground maybe; archetypically French' kind of a piccy. See what I mean. Something that would fit nicely into anything generally associated with France to give it a bit of national colour.

Whaddaya think?

ta in advance for any response,

Hi Spiff,

Is this for your French 'club'? Unfortunately we don't have the resources to take picture requests at the moment. smiley - blue
However, we are working on a Community Art scheme, which would mean that you could request a picture once it's up and running, and there's a chance you'd get it. Happy waiting, and keep your fingers crossed. smiley - ok

Yeah, French club thingy and plus I seem to be doing quite a bit of french stuff generally here. what number g-line is it says 'write what you know about'? smiley - smiley

No worries about the piccy, anyway. Quite understand that there aren't crowds of artists sitting waiting for my call to brushes. smiley - smiley

Ta for quick response. smiley - ok

... you could always write an entry on that, and if it's good enough, the Guide team might decide to pick your entry for illustrating. smiley - smiley
