Looks like it just me and the four legged beasties!

*Selects a wonderful looking black stallion and starts to tack him up, having first introduced herself with the aid of a few carrots and apples*

I wonder what his name is...

Well I don't think he'll tell you if you keep nailing him to the wall.

Here, have a carrot dahling. *Shoves a carrot into The Jester's mouth and gives him a friendly kiss on the forehead*

Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm orff to investigate this so called wonderful lake...

*Not so gracefully leaps onto her steed and rides off*

*jumps on to his Bike because horses have never liked him and speeds after the fleeting figure of Gwennie*

*Walks in looks around, begins gently raping her riding crop against her thigh*

"Anyone in here? Hello?...."

*The only sound is that of the horses feeding*

"Guess not...I'll just sit over here in this pile of hay and wait...for...someone.......to come........." *yawn*

*Walks in, sees Pickles asleep, and decides not to wake her. Instead, he curls p with his head in her lap and dozes off.

*Pegasus, the Head Girl, arrives at the stables*

Hi all. I'm Pegasus, but please call me Sus. Now I like to run a very relaxed yard, just so long as everyone gets their work done.

*Pegasus finds a roomy stable away from the main yard and starts putting down a fresh warm bed, fills a haynet, and then goes to the feedroom to mix a warm bran mash*

*Shortly a horsebox arrives, and Pegasus leads her own mount, a fiery chestnut, down the ramp and into the newly prepared stable*

She's a sweetie really, but not a novice ride. She needs experienced hands. Just don't turn her out near that stallion. I won't be held responsible...

*Sus pats Cracker's neck and leaves her to settle in with her bran mash*

*three hours later, Sus returns to find a very relaxed, well-fed and digested horse (the food, not the horse!) lying in the deep straw*

Tut tut Cracker. If you let the other stablehands see you like that, they might think you're a bit of a softie.

*Cracker gets to her feet, shakes the straw from her streamlined torso, and ambles over to her owner, ears twitching*

There you go girl... have a couple of carrots. Now, let's get you tacked up and go for a hack before all the lords and ladies come for their lessons.

*Sus looks around the deserted yard, then goes to fetch her tack*

Well, the stables are clean and the yard's swept, so I guess they're all out exercising their four-legged friends.

Come on girl...

*Sus leads the mare out into the yard, where her apparently peaceful attitude changes dramatically. Sus climbs on board, and reining the enthusiastic animal in, sets off at a 'controlled' trot*

The lake first I think...

St.~A~

*Sus and Cracker return from their exercise looking warm and happy*

Right, let's get you untacked and out into the field Cracker.

*Sus untacks her horse, brushes her down, and leads her out to a small paddock where a couple of other mares are grazing*

This should do you for today. Now... play nice!

*Sus looks around the deserted yard again and makes a mental note to give the absent stablehands a good talking to, then heads back to the manor in search of SUStainance*

Out of curiosity, why does a pegasus need a horse?!?

*rolls over in the hay, dreaming that somebody spoke, then goes back to sleep again*

*after goin back to room and getting dressed again, SLaTfatF returns and sits in the hay next to Pegasus her head rolls into his lap*

*stifles a choke*

*starts to stroke...Pegasus's hair, he can't thonk of any thing else to do(well he can but he'd probably get hypothearmia)*

*SLaTfatF's night-mare appears in the stable trots over to an other horse(and probably has an inteligent conversation in horse speak) and starts making noises at it*

(sorry typo I ment think not thonk any way)

*gently run fingers down her cheek and neck, he undoes her top blouse button, he continues to stroke her hair*
