Let us not forget that Southampton has gallons of greenery right in the town centre, which is very rare. I mean surely that counts for something?! Anyway it's on the south coast so the amount of sunshine it gets means it is much less grey than Glasgow for instance.

Southampton was not demolished it was reduced to rubble by enemy actions during the conflict of 1939-1945. The Second World War as it is known! The Common is far from grey, the solent althoguh not blue, is not grey either. As for being tired of football try somewhere else probably on another planet for that.

The fact that southampton is next to the sea where you can sail all the time is not grey. There are green feilds everywhere you look (that's if you can see).
