Please post general comments, ideas for improving layout, etc, here.
Please post suggestions for books to include, short summaries, offers to write longer reviews, and links to reviews completed in the other threads.

Layout of the summary page is much more easy on the eye and readable.
You've doen something to the table of the first page too. It looks wider and better.

Thinking ahead to potential growth of information:
Assuming that most suggested books ultimately have summaries, presumably it will be necessary to have multiple summary pages (and possibly multiple index pages).
In the case of books that straddle categories (a cosmology book that also covers a lot of geology), multiple entries on an index page may be worthwhile, pointing to the same summary and/or review.
Especially if it ends up with multiple index pages, possibly having another page without categories, but with authors listed purely in order of name, and links to all their books so far summarised or reviewed could become useful, with author's names on index and summary pages hyperlinking to the relevant entry.
That would mean that someone who liked Stephen Budiansky's books on animal behaviour could find his other books on the history of technology, and someone who liked Carl Sagan's books on cosmology could find his books on evolution.
I'm starting to think that I should maybe resurrect and modify a program I wrote to help automate production of my sister's website. Being able to have one master file on my PC with all the information in, and a program that could generate all the various pages from it could save a lot of time in making the various cross-links, and avoid errors, especially as things grow. It would mean that generating an author list page would be no actual effort.

Yes. Why not have a go.
Or maybe wait a bit until we get a few more.
Nice to have a project eh?
I love it.
Alex.
