Where are The Seventies?

Perhaps they're felt to be too old hat but I feel there should be some kind of discussion of Alvin Toffler and Desmond Morris, It's been a VERY long time since I read either "Future Shock" or 'The Naked Ape" so cant possibly volunteer (at present, anyway) but they should be included if only in recognition of their impact at the time.
