I want to add some more trivia, do you think I should move the "honorary Mum" to that section? I'm not happy with that in the main body of the entry.

Managed to find some nice snippets of trivia.
I've also emailed his agency to see how much he charges for after-dinner speaking, and I'll add that when I get a reply.

OK, I've contacted Bob's agent and he rang me back this morning.

I asked how much it would cost to book Bob to speak.

He asked what it was for, so I told him about the Normandy Veterans doo at the beginning of December. I was half-way through telling him about last year's doo when he broke in: "It's £25,000".
Silence. (as I wrote it down).
He said: "If that's too steep for your budget, Midge Ure is available for £9,000".

Oh thank you! I'll get back to you Mr Daniels. Thank you for getting back to me so quickly!

Does anyone think Bob's after-dinner-speaking fee deserves to be in the entry? I think it's very interesting myself, but others might find it boring.

I think the fee is the kind of thing that can change very quickly--he's been very much in the news lately, but in a few months' time it could be quite different. In an Edited Entry, I think it's better not to include something so specific.

It might also appear a little more mercenary than it's supposed to. Just mention he's an after-dinner speaker in much demand and that should cover it.

This is turning out great. I like the additional quotes and the new trivia heading. It's good to see you expanded certain bits of the entry, and I really enjoyed reading it for the second time. It's very interesting, and as I've said, gives a full picture across of what the legendary guy is like.

"...Born in Dun Laoghaire, Eire,..." We prefer to say Ireland when writing in English.
