Schools
It is here that Boston excels far beyond what New York City could hope to achieve. While the city does sport Columbia University, NYU, Fordham, and several good schools, Boston trumps them all. Home to Harvard University, the first, oldest, and therefore best University in the country (wink wink). But other than that, Boston is home to the most universities and colleges located in such a small area. Northeastern, Boston University, Boston College ... the list goes on. So, when it comes to the schools of higher learning, Boston has a much more diverse offering. It is a true college town.
