Dancing Kali
Blood-dimmed eyes are over the mystic mountain;
Hibiscus tongue protuding crater, where
Dance of Kali erupts gold from a sylvan fountain.
Snow leopards cradle in the caverns deep
As light darkens with diurnal sleep, there
Blood-dimmed eyes are over the mystic mountain.
Some moments are lost in the desert war
As scattered limbs hold the dry jar, here
Dance of Kali erupts gold from a sylvan fountain
Waters hurry its course and run
As oceans burst in columns and churn, here
Blood-dimmed are eyes over the mystic mountain
Magdalene carries the lantern , the light
As poignant memory buries all fright, there
Dance of Kali erupts gold from a sylvan fountain
Rocks, tombs lie on earth
As vestigial growth in thoughts submerge, where
Blood-dimmed eyes are over the mystic mountain
Dance of Kali erupts gold from a sylvan fountain.
