The entire site went into pre-modertion, the BBC had an industrial action, another work(d) for strike ?

It was announced, but on such short notice most Researchers were hardly prepared. It played already for some time, the BBC bosses had announced that about one fifth of the people has to go, to make BBC a financial healty orginisation. The union had already plans for last Sodit.

From Dontbry 22th May 00:00 GMT until Sodit 23rd May 00:00 GMT the whole of BBC was on autopilot . For HooToo this meant we were on premoderation, all postings would have to be seen by a moderator, not that they expected all of us to misbehave (though some will have made some doubtfull remarks), just to avoid having to attend the site.

Many have been lurking as the numbers raised slow but we still reached 190 in the afternoon (Last Wibble 255 !). The number of postings was not low but most fitted on a single page. Games like 'posting the last' flourished but only a handfull of entries were written. Remarkable about the entries was they became quite sudden visible .

The Postings, are still hidden, I expect they will set them free massively in the morning, just after the first tea, and the union updates for next Quik.

Let us all hope we do not have to do this again, 24 hour in the statsis is enough! (Plans are (?) next Wimpy and Wibble |_!_| )

They will start negotiations on Thing, the Union and the BBC are going to talk.
