Accents on the Underground

Post 1

Munchkin

It is one of the rare pleasures of the London Underground that, should I have had a few pints and thus be talking on it to one of my friends, I always have space. Not that I have much of an accent, but it is sufficient to cause your average London Underground user to move away. Odd, but true.
The best occasion so far was myself and a friend at Tottenham Court Road Station, discussing the route on a map. This caused a massive block of people in the tunnel, as they all edged slowly passed, giving us at least a foot clearence. You Londoners are strange smiley - smiley

>I< like the underground, it gets you where you're going. If you go on it daily, like I used to, you get to appreciate people just getting on with their business.
