That door was annoying. I did it in the end though. you need to do some other stuff to get tea first. I like infocom games, I found a lot of them online at http://www.xs4all.nl/~pot/infocom/ and the bbc hitchhikers site has the game there too.

On the game that DNA made. You try and follow Marvin through a door, but the door won't let you unless you show unequivocal evidence of your intelligence. So you have to show both Tea and No Tea to it at the same time. I can never get hold of the tea, despite the nutrimat's best efforts!smiley - laugh

The problem with the Nutrimat is it's broken. You've got to get the extra Nutrimat console from Traal and then use it to fix the Nutrimat. Then it will give you real tea.

I can't remember. Did you have to do that in the 1st version by Infocom? I can only remeber going in and dying of sadness if you don't drink the coffee.

The Infocom version should be the same as the BBC version (which I played), shouldn't it? The only difference is the BBC version has graphics.

To be honest, I cheated a bit on the Nutrimat part, because I was so fed up by this point in time through remembering everything I had hooked up and plugged in and dangled in pots of tea. So I made liberal use of some hints. If you like I can give you the links.smiley - biggrin

I have the webby for all the infocom game walkthroughs I think. Including those weird 'adult' ones they made a few of.

i suppose the 1st one covers , but the second definately isn't a werewolf. We'd need a humanoid wolfy thingy for that.smiley - smiley

I'm not sure it's supposed to be that easy to tell in the dark ... smiley - bigeyes

but you basically want a teeny tiny one of these: <./>B326433</.> (possibly without the victim and possibly looking more human than that anyway).

Why do werewolves always have to be humanoid, and badly at that? I think they look just like regular wolves, that's waht makes them scary, not being able to tell!

In early films (and Buffy the Vampire Slayer) they had to be humanoid because they were played by humans in fur suits. With modern computer trickery they could be back to being the (mythological) undistinguishable sort ... until they pounce of course. smiley - winkeye

I'm concerned that noone would recognize a real werewolf if they met one because it's not made of moulting acrylic with a zip up the back...
