I've just got up, there's cricket on the wireless (via the interwebs, at least), and although I have to go in to work for a few hours, the day is pretty much mine.

I have the cricket on the TV and am following it on Twitter too thanks to Aggers.
I got most of my work done this morning - just a little to do and then I am going to spend my afternoon making cards. Not sure on plans for this evening. Then on Saturday am going out to my fave resturant with lots of friends which I am looking forward to.

Oh, and it's run by a bloke who used to be head chef at the Alamo Drafthouse, and it's only a short bus ride away

I keep it as quiet as possible, to be honest with you, but when you clock in on your birthday (via the point-of-sale software) a big message comes up on the monitor saying HAPPY BIRTHDAY, and anyone nearby at the time can read it.
He's a very nice bloke, but he told me off on my very first day because I hadn't first asked the kitchen if they were quiet enough to make a an employee shift meal.
Well no-one told me I had to do that! I was just told to take my break and order something to eat 
He bought me breakfast when we happened to be in the same diner once though

I didn't make it to Olivia after all. Had a few too many 
at lunchtime 
What's more, they've just been included in Bon Appetit's list of the top ten best new restaurants http://www.bonappetit.com/magazine/2009/09/top_ten_best_new_restaurants and you can't get in the place any more, not that was easy to get in before.
Never mind, I'm going to have some cheese on toast

I love cheese on toast Gosho so that would be one of my favourite meals. Infact I think I will have it for lunch today.
