'ere - it's not that bad!

OK, so Liverpool does have a bit of a repuation. Well, it has a rather well known reputation... BUT it's actually wrong (kind of). I'm at the Uni of Liverpool, and I've never had anything nicked - I even left my bag full of rather expensive computer equipment in the middle of a fried chicken restaurant for 3 hours, and it was still there when I got back.
Scousers are friendlypeople, too... Well, apart from anyone who works at the Adelphi - they're not particularly friendly. Or helpful. Or anything like hotel staff should be. The people who grab you on the street and try to get money off you for strange, uhh, things aren't that nice, though. However, the people who stand on the corners selling the Big Issue are really friendly people, and don't make you feel guilty if you don't have any change.
Just thought I'd give my opinion
