It´s a budgerigar in full. Lives in Australia. If you keep them alone (which is unfair) they are can be very tame. They evan can talk. My gran had one who always went "Braver Bubi!" (Well behaved, Bubi)
The ZODIAC SIGNS...
I´ve got a problem here. The books in German. So there´s one or two things that are difficult for me to translate back into english.
Well, from June 21st to July 22nd (that should be right for you, Lizzy) It´s the following: Moon of the powerful Sun, Animal: Woodpecker, Plant: Germ.: Heckenrose, Minaral: Karneol, colour: pink
There´s a few other things. The book is on about quite a few things, but the main categories to go by are the moon and the animal, coresponding with the zodiac...
Ah, and for Dragonfly it´s: oops I forgot the exact date in Febuary...
From Jan 20th to Feb 18th it´s : The moon of rest and cleansing, Animal: Otter, Plant: Zitterpappel, Minaral Silver, Colour: silver...
From Feb. 19th to Mar 20th its´The moon of the Big Winds, Animal: Puma, Plant: Wegerich, Mineral Tyrquois (?), colour: blue-green...
Well. Hope that helps a little further.
The book is writan by one Sun Bear and Wabun. *E will go googling later on. see what he can find*

Oh, I knew I´d get something wrong: O.K. August 21st. That´s the same as mine. It´s the Moon of the ripening berries, The Animal is called "Stör" in German. I wouldn´t know the English. But it´s the Stör´s eggs that give us Kaviar.... The plant is Raspberry. The mineral is (German: Granat) and Iron. Colour: red. I don´t know any more. Or I´ll have to read the book

I found out: Sturgeon. And there is a whole website concerned with it. Go to google and enter "Sun Bear and Wabun" and you should find the links to the Sun Bear Medical Wheel...

Dragonfly, in the US, budgies are parakeets.
Caviar, one of my favorite things. I'll get some.
*Keys in a request for Sevruga and Beluga and hard boiled eggs on the ICR panel. Snags the tins and eggs and brings them to the counter, grabbing some Melba toast on the way.*
Let's have a little party, shall we?

:;shrugs:: All I know is that birds are cute, they like the tree outside my computer room window, and they make good cat food.

Speaking of which, my hubby let our kitten escape from the house today. He ()was looking out the front window, heard the front door open, bolted out and was on a mourning dove in under 5 seconds!
Hubby rescued the poor thing before could do any harm, thank goodness.
