I work at a Wal*Mart bakery. I thought I was fed up with it, so I turned in my resignation letter, which resulted in a lot of "Please don't leave"s. So I decided not to leave, because I offered to work only three days a week, and this was agreed upon. BWAHAHAHAAA!!! So there!!!
But I'm now nearing the fourth day in a row of my final five. ::phew::

Ah, now I know what I didn´t cotton on. I missed out on the meaning of "Turning in ones resignation". Sounded more like telling everyone how bad you feel about what you´re doing
That´s the thing about h2g2 for me. My english (and american) is getting ever so much better...
