A Conversation for Faith vs Religion.

I don't think it's as clear cut as you say. Some of your own examples show why. You say religion is elders, priests, synods etc, the bureaucracy of belief. But Martin Luther King was a minister and church leader, and Mother Theresa was a nun. Both part of the structures of religion, rather than loose personal faith.

Fair enough, but they were also exceptions to the rule. If they were the norm for religious organisations, we'd have a lot fewer problems in this world.
The article is not supposed to be definitive - that's impossible in a single h2g2 entry - but more a broad rant at the general concept of Capital-Letter-Religion. Think of those people who get upset about their *Religion* being insulted, rather than their faith - that's who I was after.
