Hi Nigel

As an ex-scout, I recommend you do two things:

1. Get yourself known in PeerReview - add your comments and suggestions to aspiring entries there.

2. Write an entry of your own, submit it to PR and take it through the whole process. You'll be in a better position to advise others as a result.

Have you read h2g2's gardening-related entries at C450? This gives you an idea of what you should be aiming for as an author - and it may highlight a few gaps in the Edited Guide which you could help to fill.
