Nah. I'm actually really pedantic, and I get very embarrassed when I make mistakes. Occasionally I typo the word "too" as "to" and then bash my head against a wall until it bleeds.

There's nothing wrong with making mistakes, I'm quite good at typing but I still making mistakes. I don't take it out on myself, I use the computer as a punch-bag and it works wonders for stress-relief as well.

I actually have a little computer-shaped stress-squeezy thing to provide me with the same relief, but without harming my already stressed-to-the-limits nice little linux box...

But smashing the computer in gives you satisfaction, if you get stressed because its slow, at least after thumping it one you feel like you've punished it, or something like that.

Since switching from windoze to linux, my computer has done very little to offend me, and at least when it does, I know _why_ ...

I'm workin on a prehistoric Mac so it gives me plenty of reasons to shout verbal obscenities at it.

The latest version of Mac OS is actually based on GNU/Darwin, which is (although people have their criticisms) a POSIX-compliant OS... hooray!

But still extremly slow which is the main cause of the problems.

Hmm. Bet it's not if you run it in text-mode. Sometimes I just use text-mode for things because it's so fast. For example, I use mutt to read my emails and do all my file-management and software-development stuff in zsh.

Well this Mac is on a Administrator/User system and I'm just a user so that kind of thing is locked. I would if I could.

Yes I know you call yourself a hacker.
But this system has all kind of Anti-spy/Firewall/AV so I don't think you could crack it, I've already tried.

Heh heh heh. I had a go at http://www.try2hack.nl/ but wasn't very good at it. When it got to the VB bit, I was stuck cos there aren't any VB compilers/decompilers for linux...
