h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

I've been on h2g2 now for two years and I think that over that times I've had a lot of time to get to know the system, especially in realtion to guidML...although I still have to ask questions myself, but that's the best way to learn

I've already made a welcome page for newbies, which although very basic is a starting point and I've helped people out as an ACE.

And I'm willing to help out

Have you been doing any kind of Guruing? We normally ask potential Gurus to hang around U295 and answer some questions so that I can see how they are getting on.

Unfortunately subscribing won't help. If only guruing was that easy. U295 is a persona used by the italics to answer questions. The questions aren't asked there. U295 is subscribed to all the feedback threads, so if you look at U295's conversations list (<./>MP295</.&gt you will see all the questions that need answering, once an italic answers a question or sees a guru has they unsubcribe from that thread. You could subscribe to all the feedback threads, but it is easier to just bookmark mp295 and check it every now and then.
