No, but you've talked me into it. Would you like to ask the Eds to shift the entries over to me?

Only half have been written so far and I'm waiting to arrange a time to do the other half of the route, so it won't be ready for a few weeks yet, but when it is I'll let them and you know!

In a few weeks, the BBC Eds will be gone and I'll be one of the Eds. But I promise you I'll look after your project. You may have to remind me, though.

Unfortunately due to family illness the bike ride has been postponed to next year, so I won't finish this project until the spring.

I do have the Beatles Biopics Uni project outstanding: A67794051 This has been awaiting a sub editor since July 2010.

I'm afraid I've got too much on my hands with guruing and artists to do much subbing for a while.

We did the bike ride last month and the article is almost done - I hope to finish it early next week. Are you still interested, Gnomon?

We took one or two along the way. The first half we rode on a nice, sunny day. The second half it rained all the way, so the pictures aren't quite as nice.

Actually, I don’t think I'll change anything else, so you can take it now if you wish.

I eagerly await your thorough corrections and comments. You can follow the route online if you wish by going on to this website and following the red line from Sandown:

This conversation has popped up on my list again, and it has my interest as Route 24 connects several places that will be rather important when I move south in August. I was thus wondering, BB, if I might borrow (and credit, of course) some of your introduction page in order to start working on a structurally similar project on Route 24?

Yes, Tufty, that's fine, feel free to borrow/credit away! It's actually very flattering.
The more information on National Cycle Routes the better! I hope to cycle National Cycle Route 24 too one day, but it'll be after I've persuaded The Fish to cycle route 4 from Reading to Bath, and then do 24 from Bath to Eastleigh. Possibly in 2 days, though.

Galaxy Babe, I must admit I've been wondering the same thing about the Beatles Biopic project. David, Singing Librarian Owl volunteered to edit it, stating at the time that he wasn't the fastest editor in the world. I didn't want to seem impatient or pushy, so I was planning on waiting until July, when it would be 2 years since its completion, before raising the subject again. I don't think David B's been around for a while... I hope he hasn't smiley - elvised?

David B resigned as a sub-editor about six month ago, I think. Where is this project?

Ah, found it. A67794114

I see that David B has not been on site since October 2011, so I think we can assume he has elvised.

Bluebottle, can you have a look at the entries and see has David B done any editing on them? If so, I'll give him an "Additional Sub-editing" credit.

Then I think you should send out a request for a new sub-editor, or if no one volunteers, I'll do them.
