We've planned a Southampton one, and you can't get much nearer... Oh, I don't know, some people are never satisfied...

How easy is it to get to New Milton? Would you recommend having a meet-up there?

Sounds good.
It seems that to attract a lot of people, all you really need is a train station and a pub - and a lot of advertising smiley - winkeye

2 months or more seems to have been the amount of time for the Reading and Southampton ones... I'd say you can never give too much notice, only too little...

Why not? All you'd have to do is decide on a date and create a page to keep all the information on, and then I'll help you advertise it. You can even create the page before knowing when it will be.

We could always go to a beach in winter. It would be certain that there would be no one there

New Milton doesnt actually have a beach, but Barton does (it's about 1 and half miles away so easily walkable). New Milton has a train station so people could get there easily smiley - wow
