So, when are we going to have the next meet-up after the Reading & Southampton ones...?

We've planned a Southampton one, and you can't get much nearer... Oh, I don't know, some people are never satisfied...
How easy is it to get to New Milton? Would you recommend having a meet-up there?

that'd be brilliant for me!
allthough seriously, i dont mind going to Southampton for one.
we /could/ have one in New Milton. there's a park and we could walk down to the beach

Sounds good.
It seems that to attract a lot of people, all you really need is a train station and a pub - and a lot of advertising

2 months or more seems to have been the amount of time for the Reading and Southampton ones... I'd say you can never give too much notice, only too little...

well, i am coming back from holiday on the 3rd of August and maybe going away on the 11th. how about a sunday between then?

Why not? All you'd have to do is decide on a date and create a page to keep all the information on, and then I'll help you advertise it. You can even create the page before knowing when it will be.

Did you say new milton has a beach. I was going to suggest that an h2g2 beach party could be orginised.

Its a good idea - if we get the weather spot-on.
Hard to plan that a few months in advance though...

We could always go to a beach in winter. It would be certain that there would be no one there

Apart from a sad, old man in a scruffy green jacket and wellington boots...

New Milton doesnt actually have a beach, but Barton does (it's about 1 and half miles away so easily walkable). New Milton has a train station so people could get there easily
