What to Do When a Maniac has a Gun Pointed at you

Don't insult him. He's got a gun.
There are usually three types of people who point guns at you:
Gun Toating Low-lifes
Open your wallet. Give the man your money. Plead desperately for your life. Insert a few comments about sickly relatives who need your help. If the worst comes to worst, point out of a window, and when he looks out run away.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Check where you are beforehand. If you are in springy seats, surrounded by others like you, and the man with the gun is on a raised platform some distance ahead, then you are probably in a theatre.
Spouses
Don't worry, this is perfectly ordinary behaviour. However, you should still panic, because they are the one with the gun. If this situation has been discussed before, then you've only got yourself to blame. If however it's someone else's spouse, then they probably have reason to shoot you anyway.
Children
Do you see that red plastic bit on the end? That means it's a toy.
