Rainbow

The rain falls down

Splashing the pavement

Churning the earth

Scattering the shoppers

Who think of home

And warmth

And getting dry.

The sun shines out

Splashing golden light

Churning the shadows

Scattering its beams

Which dance and weave

And refract

Forming a rainbow.
