The Three Laws

Hello Fragilis and Casanova,

Have to say that I am impressed (although slightly disappointed that I've been beaten to writing it) by the Asimov entry. I'll have a proper look at the bibliography soon but I noticed the absence of the 'Gold' and 'Silver' anthologies - are you going to list all of the anthologies? There are rather a lot so I don't blame you if you don't include them. Also the /aim/ of the three laws of robotics was to make it impossible for robots to harm humans but didn't always succeed. I can't remember off the top of my head which stories in particular contain robots causing harm to humans but there are some where the three laws fail.

I'll let you know if I think of anything else, but in the meantime keep up the fine work.

Some stories where the three laws don't work:
First Law--Powel and Devonovan on Titan find a robot that breaks the First Law
THe Little Lost Robot -- Susan Calvin finds a Nestor Robot that has a Second law compulsion that comes close to allowing it to kill her. (this is partly because the nestor has a truncated first law
Thou who aret mindful of him --- A robot decides that the word "human" as used in the three laws only replies to another robot, becase this robot is smarter than any human, in its opinio
