There is only one thing worse than being Gosho, and that is not being Gosho

Wow. Two Ohio references and I didn't even touch it. smiley - bigeyes

Don't actually have much of anything constructive to say. I'd like to be able to provide an introductory paragraph, because this entry needs it, but I don't have it.

I can, however, confirm the driving etiquette in Florida and Atlanta. Atlanta's highways are really big. Make you want to stare, but I do worry that would result in an accident - turning it into merely a six lane highway.

Drove through at four o'clock in the morning, and that was a very good idea. I got the idea that if I didn't, I wouldn't have liked it.

Florida is renowned for the old people driving, as is mentioned. Probably should also mention that you see a lot of older folks in winter, when the migrate from cold places (like Ohio). In the beginning of winter, there'll be traffic heading south, at the beginning of spring I assume there's traffic going north. They're like geese, really, but slower.

Surely some mention of semi-trucks has to be made?

Mmmm... that's it smiley - smiley

One small question/correction. In the USA section, fifth bullet...

>> Also, if you can see the traffic light for the cross traffic, an amber light for them means you may proceed before the light turns green, but do it quickly.

If you can see an amber light for cross traffic, it quite likely means the light is red for you. Best not to proceed, quickly or otherwise. (In the vast majority of places in the US, the sequence is green-amber(aka yellow)-red.)
