Favourite Green & Black choc bar?
Auntie Prue Started conversation Apr 19, 2005
I went shopping today - and treated myself to a stash of Green and Black chockie bars - to be eaten in a ladylike, controlled manner - well that's the plan at any rate.
There are several different bars - I wondered what your favourites are.
I have tried the almond, mint and cherry one so far (as well as plain), and I see there is a butterscotch and a ginger one.
So far, I like the almond one best.
What do you think

Naah, maya gold : best taste, only fair trade bar (others are not), and is excellent for icing choc. cakes (which is why we have a bar in the cupboard at all times.)

Indeed we do, Auntie P., although for the traditionalists I've taken the trouble of creating a smiley and FTP'ing it to Peta; hopefully it'll be "up" in time for the changeover.

I think that I prefer the almond one, wasn't too keen on the cherry (still ate it, it wasn't THAT bad). I think that I have tried the ginger one and it wasn't gingery enough (I could be mistaken, but I like Thornton's ginger in dark chocolate which is slabs of ginger in choc). Haven't tried the butterscotch, I may have to try it just for you
Have you had the cocoa dusted almonds, very yummy!!!!!!!!

They're absolutely scrumdiddlyumtious
You do end up with cocoa all over your fingers, especially if you eat them ALL!

Umm ... it went of it's own accord? [ouch]
Do you have a window box in hootoo mr L? hadn't clocked it, though my own hutch is festooned with cobwebs and you can hardly get in for the piles of free post lying around.
See ya in the sunlit uplands of new mustard. OH, and Old Jamaica was a favourite of mine at one time. Rather like the messy G&B cocoa dusted almonds myself. pj
