Faulty date in 'Last posted'

I don't usually use Brunel, but when I want to check if somebody's been around lately, I check their user page in Brunel ()
Anyway, this specific user page U153745 says, in Brunel, that the researcher in question last posted 'Apr 8, 2002'
But if you check this conversation, you'll see that he has posted after that:

This can sometimes happen if someone hasn't been around for a long time. The last posted date comes from the list of conversations on the page. This list isn't ordered by the date the user last posted, it's ordered by the last time anyone posted. This means that some conversations drop off the end of the list, and those might have been posted to more recently. Because we don't pull out the whole list of postings, there's always a chance the posting date will be wrong. If they've subscribed to something like ask h2g2, they might not have *any* conversations they've posted to on the list.
That's why the date can be wrong.
