This isn't an important one, I just thought you would like to know. At work I use an Xterm running Netscape 4.71 (I think) and I usually view the site through Alabaster. When I'm on a forum screen the yellow menu with the orange buttons disappears, or sometimes is only a few pixels in height so the buttons are not usable. The bar looks OK on all other screens its only when reading a forum, which is rather odd. This may of course be an artefact of the network at this end. its just a bit odd.

Do you see the rest of the top bar (logo, search and advert)?
Does it reappear when you try to post?
The only answer I can think of is that your browser doesn't like that frame (forums are different as they use frames to allow threading).

The only thing missing is the yellow band and all the buttons on it. The blue bit at the top is still there, with the Logo and the search button and stuff. It might just be cos I'm using a Neon, which do have some strange set up characteristics.

I will try and find out. The blue bit and yellow bit are the same frame so it isn't *just* that.

It may just be the Neons though, they are a little strange to use.

Boys - much as I hate to be the Professor Snape in all this, this a Bug Reports forum, not one for general chat. Now do I have to look stern?
