Bug Report: Under 16 now over 16 can't come back

To quote the thread I started in Ask:
Now that the Sistabarista (U10025397) has turned 16, she's trying to get back on hootoo. And she can sign in no problem, but even signed in, she gets the Front Page, and some things are missing from the sidebar (in Brunel) - all the things you can only access when you're signed in, like "Write an Entry", "My Conversations", and even "My Space". And she can't post, just gets asked whether she wants to sign in.
It's happening in Opera and Firefox both. Is this a problem with the formerly under-16 account?

Mal, I don't know but I've forwarded this on to the DNA tech team now and I'll let you know when I hear back from them.
