A lot of messages that have just been posted are showing up as "Post 1 Hour Ago" - I don't know whether it's just doing that for messages posted a *minute* ago, though refreshing usually takes care of it...

No, I tested it, and it's not just one minute.

For me, refreshing pages switches between:

a) (apparently) correct times

and

b) anything posted less than two hours ago showing as "Posted 1 Hour Ago", which comes up more often than the correct times

I'm on Win XP using Opera 9.64, if it helps...

Eh? And now the two messages in this thread are showing up as

"Posted 1 Hour Ago"
and
"Posted 59 Minutes Ago"

- right after I hit "Post"

My whole conversation list just showed 'last post 1 hour ago'

Mine does that as well, now that you mention it!

And I'm disappointed at the lack of special effects. I thought there'd be redshift...

I'm getting this too, sometimes it shows the right time, sometimes not. I'm using MP212656?show=200&skip=0

Few, I thought it was just me. I was going through threads in the Writing Workshop, and they were flicking between being 5 weeks old and being individually dated (ie older than 6 weeks).

Hi folks yes odd one this, think one of the web servers has a problem with it's clock ( or been changed somehow ) (it's why you see it sometimes and not others as you hit the different servers), we're having a look and will let you know shortly.

Try a shot of tequila after each post.

Hmmm - I'm getting something new now, possibly connected:

The "my conversations" list will say there's a new post, but it doesn't show up when I go to the page unless I reload Seems to be another cache problem, because the times shown are old, too. (Haven't seen it in combination with the 1 hour thing, though.)

Same here - perhaps the server is now refusing to show newer posts...

Actually, now it is showing the proper time for the last visible post, but not showing the last three posts or so in some threads.

This problem is back again

It's a caching problem apparently and it'll be ok tomorrow. Apparently.

I've also noticed that "just posted" messages show up in the "My Conversations" list with no "last posted" time whatsoever. I'll just assume that's part of the same problem
