Big mad Mr T said that a lot of people seem to write an entry which completely ignores all the writing guidelines, get offended, and never return.

I agreed.

I suggested that if you move the link to the Writing Guidelines to *above* the text box in the Create A Guide Entry page, people will notice it and pay attention to it.

He agreed and said I should post it here.

So I did.

I think it's a great idea too, and I'll add it to the list. As it involves a stylesheet change, rather than anything simple like tweaking the XSL variables, it will have to go through the normal release process, so it will take a while... but it makes sense, and sits alongside things like adding a friendly pop-up graphical window for adding smileys, so I'll add it as a Good Idea.
