I suggest a link just under or near the QOTD on the Front Page to allow the researcher to propose a new QOTD.

I want to propose Christopher's "Chord relationships are like chemical reactions. Some can cause explosions, but others just stink of wee" from F82462?thread=4394730&show=20&skip=14 but I just can't find where to submit it.

Christopher's bon mots frequently grace that spot, and deservedly too.

I'm all for a page where we can suggest them, if the Editors need it, but I'm happy to leave the final choice to the Editors' discretion. The surprise is often the best thing about being chosen.

You mean we can't propose them? The editors do? Whose site is this anyway?

I think there was a previous QOTD suggestion thread. I don't recall where though (other than probably on Askh2g2 if not around here - and then perhaps even linked from one of the front pages, since I'm unlikely to have seen it otherwise).
