Could the ability to disable the Messages section of a specific user page (by Editors only) completely be incorporated? This would prevent users posting to pages such as h2g2 Support (U295) - which would be useful for Italics and Gurus alike...

completely incorperated as opposed to what? They are normal atm aren't they? I'm not sure this is really worth it as it would only be used for the general italic personas. If it is really easy though they might as well do it.

Sorry. To clarify:

Could the ability be added for the Italics to remove the messages section from certain Personal Spaces?

No, yes, well sort of. I'm talking specifically about Personal Spaces - eg U295, where there are specific instructions not to post to the page. I was thinking that all possibility could be removed by suppressing the Messages section.

Could be useful I suppose, but if something like that went live I'd like to see an option in the preferences to enable/disable it.

When I said PR, I meant in the way that it's an entry that cannot be posted to in the normal way. smiley - smiley

How much of a problem is it to other Researchers when these entries/Personal Spaces are posted to? This wouldn't be a priority feature, because it doesn't happen very often; although if there is huge demand for it, we will add it to the list.
